Koyilandy is a very sleepy town. Tourists never come to this place even though the paddy fields and beaches are very attractive. The locals are known for staring and being nosy.

Trains are available from all parts of India to Koyilandy. Buses are available from Kozhikode and Kannur. The nearest airport is at Kondotty-Kozhikode, 50 km.
