Annual contest in Major League Baseball
The first playing of the MLB Little League Classic was held in 2017.[1] The 2020 game was initally slated to feature the Baltimore Orioles and Boston Red Sox, however, that game was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[2]
In August 2021, MLB announced that the 2022 edition would feature the same teams initally scheduled for 2020, the Baltimore Orioles and Boston Red Sox of the American League, [3]
Baltimore is the designated home team for the Classic.
